Woolpit Nurseries is a family-run plant nursery in Suffolk, located just off the A14 near Woolpit,
between Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket.
Since 1978, we have been growing and supplying quality garden plants, bedding plants,
hanging baskets, shrubs, perennials and seasonal garden products for local gardeners,
businesses and public displays.
Family-Run for Over 40 Years
Woolpit Nurseries was founded in 1978 by Pam and Bob Jackson. The nursery began by growing tomatoes commercially before expanding into bedding plants and hanging baskets, selling directly to the public.
Today, the business is run by their daughter Catherine and son-in-law Andrew Brain, who have
continued to grow Woolpit Nurseries into one of Suffolk’s few remaining grower nurseries.
Around 90% of our plants are grown on-site here in Woolpit, meaning our customers can buy
healthy, locally grown plants selected to thrive in Suffolk gardens.
